How do you communicate an art festival without any media budget?
POPUP is an art festival that took place in Lisbon in 2010. The organization approached us to create a low cost campaign that advertised the festival. Since a pigeon is the logo of the festival and their well-known icon, we used the thing pigeons spread the most around Lisbon: Their shit! We covered the city with thousands of stickers, thus turning even normal birdshit into advertising.
